- PCHA is developing more homes now than it has ever done
before.
- The areas that PCHA is building in have increased. As well as
building in North West London and Hertfordshire, we are now also
building homes in Lambeth, Crawley, Stevenage and Wycombe, amongst
others.
- Most of PCHA's new developments are now mixed tenure
developments, which means that tenants live on the same development
as shared owners and people who have bought their homes on the open
market.
- Because the laws around planning have changed, many of PCHA's
new developments are blocks of flats, as opposed to individual
houses.
- Most of our new developments are facilitated by the Local
Authority they are situated in. Because of this, the new homes that
are built mostly go to people nominated by the Local Authority,
rather than to existing PCHA tenants.
Examples of new developments:
- Wembley
- Fairview Road
- Kenniston Press
- Tushmore Roundabout
- Acre Lane
- Winton School
- Donnington Court
