Maintenance Action Group

We are a panel of residents who meet every month with PCHA's repairs contractors Morrison and Shenstone (formerly Pathmeads Property Services).

Would you like to help us improve PCHA's repairs service? Do you want to have your say and meet other residents?

Then it's time to get involved with the Maintenance Action Group (
MAG ). Here are some of our achievements. Over the past two years, we have:

  • opened up lines of communication between PCHA, residents and contractors
  • encouraged better induction and staff training
  • helped produce the repairs handbook
  • acted as a liaison between residents and contractors
  • accompanied contractors on the job to give us more insight
  • made it an essential requirement of a contractor's job that they show their ID badges
  • made the repairs department more transparent and accountable to residents

How do I get involved?

The meetings take place on the last Wednesday of every month and are held at PCHA's head office in Willesden. They start at 10am and last approximately two and a half hours. Lunch is provided and all dietary needs can be catered for.

The MAG meetings are open to all residents. All you have to do is attend a minimum of six meetings a year. Currently there are eight regular members, who would really like to encourage new residents to join them.

When are the meetings?

Last Wednesday of each month, 10am - 12.30pm at PCHA, 192 High Road, Willesden, NW10 2PB.

What are the meetings like?

Joining an established group can sometimes feel daunting, but we are a very friendly bunch and will gladly explain anything that doesn't immediately make sense.

Being a member of MAG can be a positive experience. Your opinion counts, and you can make a difference.

Will it cost to take part?

PCHA offers to pay the cost of both childcare expenses and public transport. If you let us know two weeks in advance, we can have the money available to reimburse you when you attend the meeting. Please note that we cannot reimburse Oyster card payments, so please buy a paper ticket for public transport.
