Residents' association information

We recognise that residents' associations provide an important way for you to get involved in the management of your home and neighbourhood. They can enable you and your neighbours to discuss issues and work with us to improve our services.

We actively encourage the formation and development of residents' associations. We can give you clear guidance so you know what support you can receive from us at PCHA.

Helping you to develop your residents' association or group

We will provide reasonable resources and support to help you to promote and set up a residents' association.

We will:

  • help you set up residents' associations and less structured groups
  • run elections for the positions of chair, treasurer, secretary and committee members
  • provide support for one year
  • provide financial assistance
  • provide training in key skills such as minute taking and chairing a meeting, if required.
