- Using your PCHA rent payment swipe card at any post office or
any shop displaying the 'PayPoint' or 'PAYzone' signs.

register your 19 digit account number to pay this way. Only debit
cards are acceptable.

number and address on the back.
How will I know when to pay my rent?
Your rent is due every Monday. If you need any more information
about this, please contact your Rent Recovery Officer.
How will I be able to check my rent
account?
Every three months we will send you a rent account statement.
This shows the balance on your rent account and the payments you
have made. You can also phone your Rent Recovery Officer, or visit
a PCHA office at any time to get an up-to-date statement.
What does my rent pay for?
As PCHA is a registered charity we aim to charge affordable
rents. The rent you pay goes towards:
- The cost of building or developing homes
- Carrying out repairs and improvements to your home
- Managing your home
- Helping pay back loans used to modernise older homes and to
build new ones
That's why it's important that you pay your rent on time.
What are service charges?
These charges are not the same as rent. They cover the cost of
things like lighting and cleaning of communal areas, door entry
phones and keeping lifts in working order. Your tenancy agreement
will tell you if you have to pay a service charge.
