Will I be charged for the repair?
You can only be charged for a repair when we think that you have
caused the damage for example blocking a toilet by putting the
wrong things down it.
In cases of criminal damage, you will need to supply a police
crime log number before work will be carried out, otherwise you
will be charged.
Replacing broken glass is also the tenant's responsibility unless
it happened as a result of a break-in or vandalism. If the breakage
is a security problem, we will make sure that the window is made
secure but we will charge you unless you provide a police crime log
number.
