Emergency repairs (outside office hours)

If you need to report an emergency repair when offices are closed, you can contact us on 020 8451 8000.

All other routine repairs should be reported when the offices are open.

What counts as an emergency repair?

  • gas leaks (if you smell gas, contact Transco immediately on 0800 111999)
  • total loss of electricity
  • dangerous or exposed wiring
  • total loss of water (excluding mains water)
  • uncontrollable plumbing leak
  • total heating/hot water failure
  • damaged external or flat entrance door (only if it cannot be secured)
  • broken window glass (only where accessible to passers by)
  • serious roof leak
  • dangerous structure
  • fire damage
  • other damage likely to be hazardous
